β¦ Synopsis
A method is described for the preparation and purification of 7-[ 1251] -1odoc1onazepam ( 5-(2-Chlorophenyl ) -2,3-Dihydro-7-[ 1251]-Iodo-1H-1,4-Benzodiazepin-2-one). The structure was confirmed by mass spectrometry using 7-[ 1271]iodoclonazepam prepared by the same method. to a benzodiaeepine antiserum. Although readily displaced by all the benzodiazepines commercially available in the UK, it is not displaced by structurally related nonbenzodiazepines except at very high concentrations. therefore be useful for the development of a screening radioimmunoassay (RIA) for benzodiazepines. 7-[1251]-Iodoclonazepam binds well 7-[ 12%] Iodoclonazepam should

## Abstract The synthesis of [^125^I]iodobuprenorphine is described. This compound has been used as a tracer molecule in the development of a new radioimmunoassay for buprenorphine. The parameters that effect the direct iodination of buprenorphine using sodium [^127^I]iodide, in the presence of eit
Polyphosphates of chain lengths between 3 and 100 were coupled to porous zirconia particles and used for affinity chromatography of nucleic acids and proteins. It is demonstrated that single-stranded RNA and DNA are strongly retained on the polyphosphate-modified zirconia support, while double-stran
## Abstract A simple method is described for the preparation of 2β[^125^I]iodohistamineβlabelled Ξ^8^βtetrahydrocannabinolβ11βoic acid with high specific activity for use in radioimmunoassay. This compound is produced in high yield and shows excellent radiochemical stability when stored at 4Β°C. The
## Abstract A novel protocol for preparation of highly magnetic chitosan particles, with a coercive force as high as 3500 Oe, has been developed. The surface of the particles was functionalized with aldehyde groups to facilitate the attachment of affinity ligands. The optimum conditions for the pre
