The title compound, [Cu(C 15 H 14 NO) 2 ], adopts a stepped conformation and displays a square-planar trans-[CuN 2 O 2 ] coordination geometry. The asymmetric unit contains two independent half molecules and each Cu atom is located on a center of symmetry. For one molecule, the CuÐN and CuÐO bond di
