✦ Synopsis

In the title compound, [Co(C 17 H 10 Br 2 NO) 2 (C 3 H 7 NO) 2 ], the cobalt(II) cation is coordinated by two N and two O atoms from two different Schiff base ligands, and two O atoms from dimethylformamide molecules, forming a slightly distorted octahedral geometry. In the crystal structure, C-HÁ Á ÁBr hydrogen bonds link the molecules in rows.
