✦ Synopsis
In the title compound, [Mo(CO) 3 (C 18 H 15 P)(C 12 H 8 N 2 )] or C 33 H 23 MoN 2 O 3 P, the carbonyl groups are attached to one face of the MoC 3 N 2 P octahedron. Slight differences in the Mo-C bond lengths may be interpreted in terms of back-bonding models of electronic structure. In the crystal structure, a short C-HÁ Á ÁO interaction (HÁ Á ÁO = 2.34 A ˚) may help to establish the packing.
