The title compound (-CF 2 -SF 3 ) 2 ( 2) is prepared from (-CF 2 -SO 2 gives [-CF 2 -S(O)F] 2 (4), and CsF-catalysed oxidation with F 2 leads to the previously reported (-CF 2 -SF 5 ) 2 ( 11).
