✦ Synopsis
The asymmetric unit of the title mixed-valence complex, [Ru 2 (C 2 H 4 NO) 4 (H 2 O) 2 ]NO 3 , comprises two half-cations, with Ru-Ru bond distances of 2.2829 (5) and 2.2797 (5) A ˚, and a nitrate anion. Each cation is centrosymmetric. The diruthenium cations form a two-dimensional hydrogen-bonding network via N-HÁ Á ÁO and O-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds. metal-organic papers Acta Cryst. (2006). In the title compound, [Rh 2 (C 2 H 4 NO) 4 (H 2 O) 2 ][ReO 4 ], the cation lies on an inversion center and the anion on a twofold axis. The cations are connected two-dimensionally by O-HÁ Á ÁO and N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonding. Hydrogen bonds to perrhenate ions connect the two-dimensional sheets.

The title dinuclear Co II complex, [Co 2 (C 8 H 7 O 2 ) 4 (C 12 H 8 N 2 ) 2 -(H 2 O)], has C 2 symmetry with the coordinated water O atom located on a twofold axis. Two Co II ions are bridged by two methylbenzoate (MBZ) anions and one water molecule. Each Co II ion displays a distorted octahedral co
