✦ Synopsis

Products of the radical reactions arising from t-BuZOz, CFsI, and CHsI at 146Β°C in the vapor phase have been measured over a 33-fold range of CHsI/CH,I ratios and shown to be governed by the rapidly established equilibrium

Together with K estimated by thermochemical methods, the results yield, for the rate of recombination for CF3. radicals, k, = * 0 . 5 M-' sec-l.

Products of radical combination from the free-radical buffer system R' + R'I RI + R'. have been analyzed for the two cases, R = Me, R' = iPr and R = Et, R' = iPr. Results are consistent with the previously examined system where R = Me, R' = Et, and give a value of k p for iPr' combination of 108.6\

## Abstract The decaying absorption of CH~3~ radicals at 216.4 nm has been followed over more than three half‐lives using a photoelectric split‐beam kinetic spectrometer. The rate constant for recombination __k__~r~ was found to be (5.60 Β± 0.76) Γ— 10^βˆ’11^ cm^3^/moleculeΒ·s.

## Abstract The unimolecular homogeneous decomposition of hexafluoroazomethane was studied in a VLPP apparatus in the temperature range 720–1050 K and is consistent with the following Arrhenius parameters: at 900 K, where the __A__ factor was assumed to be the same as for 2,2′‐azoisobutane. The h
