Mehrere Antipyretica (Pyrazolone, Phenolcarbonsäuren, p-Aminophenole) oder ihre Metaboliten erwiesen sich bei der manometrisch bestimmten Autoxydation von Leinöl- und HolzölEmulsionen als Antioxydantien. Die Frage des Zusammenhanges zwischen dieser Wirkung und der Antipyrese wird diskutiert.
