✦ Synopsis

Abstract

A new preparation method for polyacrylamide gels in fused silica capillaries is described. In this method use is made of riboflavin as a light sensitive initiator for the polymerization reaction. Also, results from measurements on the diffusion coefficients of four oligonucleotides in a polyacrylamide gel are reported. Furthermore, a new preparative method to purify and collect oligonucleotides is presented. Separation performance of the gels was tested with various samples of oligonucleotides.
