In the title complex, [Sn 4 (C 7 H 5 Cl 2 ) 8 (CH 3 O) 2 Cl 2 O 2 ], the O atoms and the methoxy groups bridge four Sn atoms to form a tetranuclear complex which is located on an inversion centre. Each Sn atom assumes a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal geometry.

✦ Synopsis
The title compound, [Sn~4~(C~7~H~7~)~8~(CH~3~O)~2~(C~7~H~7~O~3~S)~2~O~2~], contains the well known structural unit of four organotin units linked by O-atom bridges into a ladder-type centrosymmetric tetramer. The Sn^IV^ atoms are coordinated in distorted SnC~2~O~3~ trigonal–bipyramidal geometries.

In the title compound, [V~2~(C~17~H~17~N~2~O~2~)~2~O~2~]·2C~3~H~7~NO, each V atom is chelated by a Schiff base ligand __via__ two N and two O atoms. The two octahedrally coordinated V atoms are linked by two bridging oxide ligands to give a centrosymmetric dimer.
The central bridging O atom of the title homodinuclear titanocene complex, [Ti 2 (C 17 H 15 F 6 ) 2 Cl 4 O], lies on a crystallographic inversion center. The Ti IV ion has a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry defined by two Cl atoms, a cyclopendienyl ring and the O atom.
