✦ Synopsis


The central bridging O atom of the title homodinuclear titanocene complex, [Ti 2 (C 17 H 15 F 6 ) 2 Cl 4 O], lies on a crystallographic inversion center. The Ti IV ion has a distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry defined by two Cl atoms, a cyclopendienyl ring and the O atom.
