The Sn atom of the title compound, [Sn(C~6~H~5~)~2~(C~12~H~12~ClNO~3~)], is in a distorted SnNC~2~O~2~ trigonal–bipyramidal geometry and forms five- and six-membered chelate rings with the tridentate ligand.
