I bought this book as an experienced c++ win32 developer, but no knowledge of direct x. He presents the book in a format of concept and then source code example. Projects are unnecessarily complicated for introducing DirectX. It is better for the author to leave the framework design to the end user, since it is possible to create an object oriented framework with clearer structure. However, it is a good reference book.
