The 3iP NMR spectrum of P&, in CS1 solution belongs to the AzX2 system (6 = 83.3 and 110.7 ppm respectively, downfield from D3P0,); this confirms the C\_ q,, symmetry of the free molecule. No P-S-P coupling is observed; this anomaly is discussed by comparison with related compounds.
