✦ Synopsis
The title compound, [Mn~2~(C~16~H~12~Br~2~N~2~O~2~)~2~O], is an unusual dinuclear manganese(III) complex. Each Mn^III^ ion has a distorted square-pyramidal coordination geometry. In the basal plane, the Mn atom is coordinated by two N atoms and two O atoms of the Schiff base ligand. The apical position is occupied by a bridging O^2−^ ion, which links to the other Mn^III^ ion in the complex; this bridging O atom lies on a twofold rotation axis.

In the title compound, [V~2~(C~17~H~17~N~2~O~2~)~2~O~2~]·2C~3~H~7~NO, each V atom is chelated by a Schiff base ligand __via__ two N and two O atoms. The two octahedrally coordinated V atoms are linked by two bridging oxide ligands to give a centrosymmetric dimer.
The anion of the title complex, (C~12~H~14~N~2~)[Co~2~(C~6~H~4~O~7~)~2~(H~2~O)~2~], is a centrosymmetric edge-shared bioctahedral dimer, in which the two Co atoms are bridged by two alkoxide O atoms of the fully deprotonated citrate ligands. All of the carboxylate groups coordinate in a monodentate
