The vibrational relaxation rate of hydrogen fluoride has been measured at 350% using a lver ftuorescence technique.
The self-relaxation rate is extremely fast having a pi= 0.014 $sec atm. Lo;-er Limits for the relaxation times of HF in Ar, N2 and F2 have been obtained.
