Wxational relaxation in Hz-rare-gases mixtures has been studied, using the Raman escitation of Ha. The mea% urements performed on binary and ternary Hz-He-h mixtures yiAded the following rates at room temperature:

prHz-He = 2280 psec atm , ~TH,,_A~' 7150 pSCC Zltm . . The Hz-He value obtained here is more than one order of magnitude smaller thm that predicted by Shin's theory.
