## Abstract A preparation of adenovirus 4, containing infectious SV40 genetic material enclosed within adenovirus coats (Ad. 4โ€SV40 hybrid), induced both transformation of newborn hamster kidney cells in vitro and tumors in neonatally inoculated hamsters.
