In the structure of the title complex, [PtCl(C 18 H 15 P) 3 ]ClO 4 Á-2CH 2 Cl 2 , the coordination polyhedron with platinum as the central atom has a distorted square-planar geometry formed by three P atoms from three triphenylphosphine ligands and one Cl atom.
