The absorption spectrum of \(\mathrm{S}_{2}\) has been observed down to \(400 \AA\) on the SA63 line of SUPERACO (LURE) in Orsay, France. β¦ Synopsis
Theoretical calculations are presented on the vertical spectra of H2S as well as along bending and symmetric dissociation paths. The results show that interactions of the dissociating 'A, (5a,d6a, (4s)) state with the (%,-+a~, np, nd) Rydberg states might lead to predlssociation of the latter, for Rydberg states up to "4d".

## Abstract The singlet and triplet excited states of hydrogen cyanide have been computed by using the complete active space selfβconsistent field and completed active space second order perturbation methods with the atomic natural orbital (ANOβL) basis set. Through calculations of vertical excitat
A Rydberg state of CO, the first in a series converging to the A 'n excited state of CO+, has been characterized by ab initio configuration interaction calculations. This state, which we denote (3so)'fI. is the inner well of our third adiabatic state of 'Fl symmetry and lies at a 7;. value of 12.76
