MATERIALS AND METHODS ## Carboxy-p-amino[14C]benzoic acid was obtained from ICN and from Research Products International. Thionyl chloride was obtained from Matheson, Coleman and Bell, adenosine was obtained from Sigma, and hexamethylphosphoramide was obtained from Aldrich. Thin-layer chromatogr
