✦ Synopsis
The equilibrium has been studied between graphite and the C5 linear cluster, characterized by means of the most sophisticated available quantum-chemical data. For some combinations of theoretical parameters the agreement with the observed value of equilibrium constant is better than one order of magnitude.

This species was detected by means of pulsed laser excitation in the Nl(C" %,+A' 'C: ) 2-1 band, followed by 2-O band fluorescence. The lifetime o
## Abstract The reaction of the heteronuclear cluster RuOs~3~(μ‐H)~2~(CO)~13~ with saturated and unsaturated C~5~ rings led to the aromatization of the rings to afford the clusters RuOs~3~(μ‐H)(CO)~9~(μ‐CO)~2~(η^5^‐C~5~R~4~R′). However, the reaction with cyclopentene gave the cluster RuOs~3~(μ‐H)~3
