The millimeter- and submillimeter-wave spectrum of the ground and \(v_{2}=1\) vibrational excited state of \(\mathrm{PF}_{3}\) has been observed and analyzed. A centrifugal distortion analysis of the spectra extended up to the octic terms allowed an accurate determination of the spectroscopic consta

โฆ Synopsis
The ground state rotational spectrum of (\mathrm{CH}{3} \mathrm{CF}{3}) was measured from (190 \mathrm{GHz}, J=18), up to (910 \mathrm{GHz}, J=87) and (K=63). These measurements allow us to determine accurate molecular constants, including the three sextic centrifugal distortion constants: (H_{J}, H_{J K}), and (H_{K J}). For high(J) values, a splitting of the (K=3) lines was observed and the splitting constant (h_{3}) could be determined. (c) 1994 Academic Press. Inc.

The millimeter-wave rotational spectra of the excited vibrational states ยฃ 8 ร 3 and ยฃ 8 ร 4 of the symmetric top species trifluoroacetonitrile, CF 3 CN, have been recorded for Jะ ร 19 to Jะ ร 22. The ground state rotational spectrum of As 35 Cl 3 was investigated in the range 120-376 GHz, and sextic-level spectroscopic constants were determined. A careful analysis of the observed splittings allowed the determination of the h 3 splitting constant, of the arsenic electric and magnetic hyperfin
