β¦ Synopsis
Ah&act-The
Raman spectra of the reaction products of TIC1 with Tic&, SnCI, and TICI, at different temperatures, and pressures up to 8 MPa, have been recorded from 1600 to 60 cm-'. It was shown that complex anions TlClh , Tl,CI:-and TlCl~-are present in salt fusions of TICI-TICIs and interaction of gaseous TiCI, and SnCI, with molten TlCl leads to formation of the ions TiC$ or SnCg-. Other complex products of possible additional reactions were not discovered in these experiments.
