✦ Synopsis

The ultraviolet emission spectra of the fragments of CT2Cl2, CFzBr2, CF2C'IBr and CF2CI-CT2CI excited in a micro-Eve discharge have been mcasurcd. Between 240 and 340 nm the spectra were found to be practically idcnticd with those of the CF2 radiLx1 obtained by previous authors. Another band system between 340 and 450 nm is likely to belong also to the CT2 radical. It is suggested that it probably belongs to triplet-singlet c3B1 -'Al) emission_

Chemiluminescence from electronitiy excited HS2 radi&s has be&n detected between 950 and 2100 nm in gas-pha;9 flow systems. The emission essentially consits of u:sequences of the I$ (Al 'A' -t x 'A") tra&iion wi& the 000 -000 lxmd origin at 1378 nm. DS2 was also studied For HSp the following spectro
