✦ Synopsis

-0) subbands at 4641 and 445.6 nm are idenlified in the fluorescence exciralion specua or NO, roIa1ionally cooled in a supersonic jet. The origins of both bands agree well with a calculakm based on rhe theory of Ihe Renner-Teller effect. and the Mbrarional signmenu ui = 14 and 16 are given IO the upper levels, respextively.

The rotational structure of the \*Br(K' = 1) sub-band of NO2 was, for the fust time, analyzed in the thne-gated escitation spectrum monitored at the 31~2 fluorescence band. The band origin, ho = 2 15019 cm-', and rotational constant, z' = 0.373 cm-' , were obtained. The observed sub-band was vibrati
