✦ Synopsis

In the centrosymmetric title compound, [Co(C 11 H 9 N 2 O 4 ) 2 -(H 2 O) 4 ]Á0.5H 2 O, the Co II complex has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry with two monodentate ligands and four water molecules. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular O-HÁ Á ÁO and C-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds and astacking interaction.
