are new antihypertensive agents which have bee~~carbon-14 labeled in three steps starting from ethylene-C2 oxide ( 5 ) . The overall radiochemical yields for 1 and 2 were 69% and 66% respectively. initially 22.6 mCi/mmol before final dilution.
The specific activity for both compounds was

The &thesis of CI-930 employed the intermediate 2-b~tenenitrile-3,4-~'C which was synthesized by a phase transfer Wittig procedure. to good yields of olefin and acco
## Abstract A reaction sequence suitable for the preparation of an analog of 2βpropylβ1β[2β²β(1Hβtetrazolβ5βyl)[1,1β²βbiphenyl]β4βyl]methylβ4β[2β(trifluoroacetyl)β1Hβpyrrolβ1βyl]β1Hβimidazoleβ5βcarboxylic acid, with ^14^C at the methylene bridge was developed.
