## Abstract Four deuterium‐substituted α‐tocopherols (dideutero‐__RRR__, nonadeutero‐__ambo__, nonadeutero‐__all‐rac__ and undecadeutero‐__all‐rac__) and a dideutero‐__RRR__‐γ‐tocopherol have been synthesized for use in studies of the biokinetics, bioavailability and metabolism of vitamin E.
