Several substituted pyrazolines were synthesized and characterized, and all of these pyrazolines inhibited rat brain monoamine oxidase. Evaluation of these compounds revealed appreciable anticonvulsant activity, reflected by their ability to afford protection against pentylenetetrazol-induced seizur
