A series of new quinoline substituted oxiranes were synthesised by the reaction of 2-N-(chloroacetyl)-1-(4'-methyl -2'-quinolinyl) hydrazide and aromatic aldehydes. These compounds were tested against encephalomyocarditis virus (EMCV) and only two compounds exhibited protection against the virus.

## Abstract A series of 2,1,3β and 1,2,4βbenzothiadiazine derivatives were synthesized by alkylation __via__ Mitsunobu reaction and evaluated for their antiviral activity against ADV, HHVβ6, CoxβB5 and HβCMV. Most of them were active at micromolar level against one or more viral strains. All the mo
## Abstract An environmentally benign method has been developed for the synthesis of novel chiral thiourea derivatives in high yields in ionic liquid [Bmim]PF~6~. The ionic solvent can be recovered and reused without any loss of its activity. The target compounds were characterized by elemental ana
