✦ Synopsis

N -(p-Diathylaminophenyl) -7-methyl-l,2, 4-triaz010[1,5-a]pyrinzidin-5-carbaldim~n (5) 1 g 2 wird in 10 em3 Athanol gelost. Zu dieser Losung wird eine Ltherische Losung von N, N-Diathyl-p-phenylendiamin im UberschuB gegeben. Den Ather 1aBt man anschlieBend an der Luft verdunsten. Nach mehrtagigem Stehen kristallisiert 5 aus. Es wird abgesaugt und iiberschussiges Amin mit Ather ausgewaschen (Schmp. 191 "C).

## Abstract Durch cyclisierende α‐Aminoalkylierung von Styrol (**4n**), α‐Methyl‐styrol (**4a**) und anderen Olefinen mit aromatischen Aminen sowie Aldehyden werden 1.2.3.4‐Tetrahydro‐chinoline **7a**–**r** erhalten. Mit Formaldehyd bilden sich nur aus sek. aromatischen Aminen 1.2.3.4‐Tetrahydro‐ch
