We report now the structure of the O-antigen of str
## Abstract The conformation of 4βdeoxyβΞ±βLβ__threo__β4βenohexopyranosyluronic acid (1 β 3)2βacetamidoβ2βdeoxyβdβhexoses was analyzed by NMR spectroscopy. The halfβchair (H~1~^2^) conformation was found in the unsaturated uronide moiety and the chair (__Cl__) conformation in the hexosamine moiety.
