Quantitative studies were made o n the effects of various additives such as procaine hydrochloride, dextrose, and citrate in reducing penicillin G procaine solubility in water. Aqueous vehicles were prepared i n which the solubility was lowered to a minimum of 0.036 mg./cc. at room temperature. ONG
