## Abstract The 25โ€hydroxyvitamin D~3~โ€24โ€hydroxylase mRNA is tightly and reciprocally regulated by 1,25โ€dihydroxyvitamin D~3~ (1,25(OH)~2~D~3~) and parathyroid hormone (PTH). The upregulation of the 24โ€hydroxylase by 1,25(OH)~2~D~3~ is well established and occurs at the transcriptional level throu
