Abstract

This article presents a reconfigurable uniplanar printed slot antenna with eight microwave switches, it is possible to reconfigure the impedance bandwidth, of the antenna between three discrete states (two ultra‐wide band and one narrowband).© 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract A novel compact slot antenna has been proposed for ultra‐wideband (UWB) communications. The keyhole‐shaped slot antenna consists of an indented circular‐pie slot and a rectangular slot. The UWB (3.1–10.6 GHz) property is achieved by choosing suitable cutting pie and rectangular slot. De

## Abstract An ultra‐wideband (UWB) square slot antenna with a band‐notched characteristic is presented. The proposed antenna has a simple configuration and is easy to construct. The ultra‐wideband operation is realized by loading an offset rectangular stub at the end of the microstrip feed line. T
