The rate coeffkients and product Ion distributions have been obtained for the reactions of the CHZ ions (n = 0 to 4) with COS, H2S, HaCO, CHsOH and CHBNHz in a SIFT at 300 K. The reactions are generally fast binary with mulriple products except for CHf for which fast ternary association channels are also observed in parallel with the binary channels.

The rate coefficients and ionised product distributions have been determined for reactions of the ions CH: and CzHz with Hz and CH4. for R = 0 to 4, in a SIFT apparatus at 300 K. The reactions are fast and mukiple products result from the CH4 reactions.
