Rate constants for the reaction of CN( u= 0) with Cl,, FZ and O2 have been measured. CN radicals were generated by photolysis of C2Nz with pulsed radiation at 193 nm. Laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) was used to monitor the decay profiles of CN radical concentrations.
