## Abstract A convenient photosynthetic method for production of ^11^Cโ labelled glucose has been designed using the green alga Scenedesmus obtusiusculus Chod. The organism converts H^11^CO~3~ to glucose in 50โ70% yield. The total time needed for the synthesis and isolation of the glucose is 25โ30
