โœฆ Synopsis

A fast and convenient method is reported for preparing ion-selective electrode membranes based on bisphenol A epoxyacrylate, 1,6-hexanedioldiacrylate and benzophenone photoinitiator. A calcium-selective electrode is used as example; responses are Nemstian in the range 1O-'-lO-5 M with the calcium salt of bis-[ 4-( 1',1',3',3'-tetramethylbutyl)phenyl] phosphoric acid as the active substance.

We have developed a new method for the integration of ion-sensitive membranes and silicon sensor chips. The ion-sensitive membrane is deposited in pyramidal containments produced on silicon by an anisotropic etching technique. Here we demonstrate the application of this method to the development of

The preparation of a potassium-selective electrode based on a photo-cured polymer membrane containing valinomycin is reported. This electrode has similar response characteristics to one based on PVC with the same neutral carrier. It is suitable for use in flow-injection systems because of its fast i
