β¦ Synopsis
A natural adaptive linear quadratic regulator is studied. The optimal control is shown to be the best estimate, given the observation, of the linear quadratic control computed assuming that the true parameter were known. Moreover this optimal control is stabilizing.
The new ingredient that makes these results possible is the introduction of the concept of entropy into linear quadratic control.

This papers addresses the problem of globally minimizing the worst-case response to persistent l bounded disturbances in linear systems with bounded control action. The main result of the paper shows that in the state-feedback case the best performance among all stabilizing controllers (possibly dis
A global stabilization problem for linear control systems with constrained controls is considered. First an auxiliary control system with a full-dimensional set of controls is studied. A global stabilizer for such a system can be found in a simple analytical form. Then using local stabilization tech
