✦ Synopsis

A global stabilization problem for linear control systems with constrained controls is considered. First an auxiliary control system with a full-dimensional set of controls is studied. A global stabilizer for such a system can be found in a simple analytical form. Then using local stabilization techniques, a local stabilizer that keeps trajectories of the original system in the vicinity of a solution to the auxiliary system is constructed.

This papers addresses the problem of globally minimizing the worst-case response to persistent l bounded disturbances in linear systems with bounded control action. In this paper we present a technique to stabilize discrete-time linear systems with bounded inputs. Based on optimal control techniques, we construct a continuous bounded state feedback which leads to global asymptotic stabilization for the case where the open-loop system has all its eigenvalues wit

In this paper, we present a Lyapunov function for systems containing a double integrator and with controller saturation. This Lyapunov function is composed of a positive-semide"nite quadratic term and an integral term. The main result provides a su$cient condition that guarantees a system with a dou

This work presents a technique for obtaining a bounded continuous feedback control function which stabilizes a linear system in a certain region. If the open-loop system has no eigenvalues with positive real part, the region of attraction of the resulting closed-loop system is all 1L, i.e., the feed
