✦ Synopsis

Protected glycopyranosylcyanides were transformed into the corresponding N-tert-butoxycarbonyl-glycopyranosyl methylamines in a one-pot transformation in high yields. This general method is applicable to glycopyranosylcyanides bearing common O-and N-protecting groups frequently used in carbohydrate chemistry.
