Studies on the Transformation of Azido-Group to N-(t-Butoxycarbonyl)amino Group via Staudinger Reaction.

-A simple and convenient method for the direct conversion of primary azides into N-Boc-amines [cf. (III), (V), (VII)] via iminophosphorane intermediates is described.
