✦ Synopsis

The reaction of 1,2-diaminoethane and 2-pyridinecarboxyaldehyde in the presence of a reducing agent, sodium triacetoxyborohydride, leads to the title compound, C 26 H 28 N 6 . The molecule has a centre of symmetry.
