✦ Synopsis
In the 13 CH / isotopic ion radical emission spectra of six bands of the A 1 P-X 1 S / system have been obtained using a Geissler-type discharge tube. The spectra have been photographed at high resolution and Th standard lines have been used as a calibration spectrum. The 1-1 band has been observed and analyzed for the first time. By means of a direct fit and the merged calculus, the following improved molecular constants for both electronic states have been computed: for the A 1 P state, B £ , D £ , H £ , q £ , q D£ , and for the X 1 S / state, B £ , D £ , H £ , and the T A0X , value as well as the equilibrium constants for the X 1 S / and A 1 P states.
