In the 13 CH / isotopic ion radical emission spectra of six bands of the A 1 P-X 1 S / system have been obtained using a Geissler-type discharge tube. The spectra have been photographed at high resolution and Th standard lines have been used as a calibration spectrum. The 1-1 band has been observed

✦ Synopsis
The five (0-0, 0-1, 0-2, 1-0, and 1-1) bands of the B 2 S 0 -X 2 P system of the CH radical have been recorded and analyzed using conventional spectroscopy. The 0-1 and 0-2 bands have been observed for the first time. The spectrum was photographed under high resolution and calibrated against Th lines. The reduction of the spectra of the individual bands has been performed via a nonlinear least-squares fit with the effective Hamiltonians of Brown. By making use of merged calculation we have determined the B £ , D £ , H £ , and g £ constant values for the B 2 S 0 (£ Å 0, 1) levels and the T
