✦ Synopsis
The emission spectrum of the 0-0 band of the C 2 S / -X 2 P transition for 12 CH and 13 CH isotopic molecules have been obtained using a Geissler tube. The spectra have been photographed under high resolution and calibrated against Th standard lines. The reduction of the spectra for the individual bands has been performed via a nonlinear least-squares fit with the effective Hamiltonian of Brown. New values of the molecular constants for upper state have been determined. The 0-0 band of the C 2 S / -X 2 P system in the 13 CH radical has been obtained and analyzed for the first time. ᭧ 1997

The five (0-0, 0-1, 0-2, 1-0, and 1-1) bands of the B 2 S 0 -X 2 P system of the CH radical have been recorded and analyzed using conventional spectroscopy. The 0-1 and 0-2 bands have been observed for the first time. The spectrum was photographed under high resolution and calibrated against Th line
The 0-0 band of the A ˜2P-X ˜2S / transition of CaCCH has been rotationally analyzed through CW dye laser excitation. A total of 440 rotational lines of this band were recorded with high precision, 0.0035 cm 01 . A least-squares fit of the line positions using a standard 2 P-2 S / model provides acc
