Abstract
Two naturally occurring coumarins, dihydrosuberenol (5) and (E)‐O‐ethylsuberenol (6), and another possible natural product (E)‐O‐methylsuberenol (7), were synthesized from (E)‐suberenol (1). The treatment of 1 with HBr gave the new menthadienediylbis(coumarin) 8.
