✦ Synopsis
Reactions of [RhClL] (L,=diolefin or (CO)(PPh,)) with the deprotonated form of the ligand 3,5bis(pyridin-2-yl)-1,2,4-triazole (Hbpt) gave neutral, mononuclear complexes [Rh&)(bpt)]. Cationic, mono-and dinuclear species of formulae [Rh&.)(Hbpt)]+, [{Rhb}*(bpt)]+ and [{Rh&.}@bpt)]*+, where b=diolefin, (CO), or (CO)(PPh,), have also been prepared. Ion-pair complexes of formulae [Rh&)(Hbpt)][RhC&]
were obtained
